Who it's for
For women who want to train, and who would rather start in a room of women. Some stay in the women's classes. Plenty use them as a way in and then train across the whole timetable. Both are completely normal here.
What a class looks like
Warm up
Movement to get you ready, scaled to whoever is in the room.
Technique
A position, broken down, drilled with a partner at your pace.
Rounds
When you want them. Nobody is pushed into live training before they are ready.
Finish
Questions, and where to take it next.
What to wear
T-shirt and shorts, or leggings and a rashguard if you have them. Nothing to buy up front.
When it's on
| Day | Time | Class |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | 5:30 โ 6:30 pm | Women's BJJ |
| Wednesday | 5:30 โ 6:30 pm | Women's Nogi |
Two women's-only classes a week. Every other class on the timetable is open to you as well, including Yoga, Strength and Conditioning, and Open Mat.
Will I have to roll with men?
Not in the women's classes, and not anywhere until you choose to. It is the question we get asked most, and Linzi has written about it honestly rather than giving the polite answer.

Have a look at these instead, or come in and let a coach point you the right way.
